August/September

Hey Everyone,

We hope you're all enjoying the new site as well as the summer weather. We're very excited to tell you about the shows we have coming up in the next two months. First, Krissy and I will be heading into Manhattan to take the stage at New York Beer Co. on Aug. 11th. It's a fun spot with (I may be exaggerating) over a million beers you can try while we sing all your favorite songs. Then we'll be at one of our favorite hangouts, Cowgirl Seahorse, on Aug. 27th. That's where we will be doing The Byrds' "Sweetheart of the Rodeo" in its entirety for the 50th Anniversary. We'll be joined by the greats, Christian Apuzzo and Cole Quest Rotante, as we bring you this iconic album as well as plenty of other covers and originals. Then on Sept. 1st the party moves to Queens at LIC Bar for a Labor Day weekend show. After that, The Locksmiths head to Brooklyn where we will be featured at the Big City Folk Song Club at Fawkner on Sept. 20th. The Song Club is hosted by the talented Niall Connolly and is highly regarded as a stomping ground for some of the best songwriters. Therefore, we will be in good company and honored to be a part of it. That's what is in the books. We hope to see you around!
